The chemical name for PE is polyethylene, which is relatively soft and has a waxy feel when touched. Compared to similar plastics, it is lighter and is a common plastic material.

1、 Features:

(1) Easy to undergo photo oxidation, thermal oxidation, and aging.

(2) Non toxic.

(3) Has excellent electrical insulation properties. Non irritating.

(4) Wear resistant and strong impact resistance.

                                                             

2、 Category:

From the appearance, it can be divided into two types: transparent and opaque, and from the density, it can be divided into high and low density.

(1) HDPE stands for high-density polyethylene (density 0.945~0.96 grams/cubic centimeter) in Chinese, commonly known as low-pressure ethylene. It is characterized by being relatively hard, durable, and widely used, commonly used in vest bags, clothing bags, hospital CT bags, etc.

                                                               

(2) LDPE stands for low-density polyethylene in Chinese, commonly known as high-pressure ethylene. LDPE is relatively soft and has strong toughness. If there are many printed colors, LDPE material is generally chosen.

Linear low-density PE (LLDPE) with a density of 0.925 grams per cubic centimeter. High pressure low-density PE (HP-LDPE) with a density of 0.918 grams per cubic centimeter.

                                                                    

3、 Toxicity: Non toxic, harmless to human body.

(1) PE plastic bags have a stable chemical structure, are not easily decomposed, and will not release harmful substances under normal use and storage conditions. Therefore, the impact of PE plastic bags on human health is relatively small.

(2) PE plastic bags used normally will not cause any pollution to food and items, and will not directly harm human health.
